Meet Dr. KABIR
Education and Training
Dr. Binait Kabir earned his undergraduate bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in Neurobiology and Physiology. He obtained a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Mississippi College/Georgetown University. Dr. Kabir holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, which is the first dental school in the world. After dental school, Dr. Kabir completed a General Practice Residency at BronxCare Hospital in New York City. Post-residency, he practiced as a general dentist in New York City before pursuing specialty training in Endodontics. Dr. Kabir completed his residency in Endodontics and second master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. He is board-eligible and is actively pursuing Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Kabir sees patients at our Washington D.C. office as well as at our Virginia office- Centreville Endodontics.
Awards and Recognition
During dental school, Dr. Kabir received the Irving I. Abramson Endodontics Award for demonstrating outstanding concentration, skill, and expertise in the diagnostic and technical aspects of endodontics. During his endodontic residency, Dr. Kabir was one of 10 total residents selected nation-wide to be a member of the Resident Expert Advisory Council (REACH) that served in an advisory capacity to the AAE Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
Dr. Kabir is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, and the DC Dental Society. He is currently the treasurer of the Penick Endodontic Study Club.
